Yemen Airways Announces New Daily Flights Between Sanaa and Amman
Yemen Airways has announced the launch of three daily flights on the Sanaa-Amman-Sanaa route, starting from Thursday, July 25th. The airline’s spokesperson, Hatem Al-Shaabi, explained that the initiation of these flights follows an agreement between the legitimate government and the Houthi group, as announced by Hans Grundberg, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen, on Tuesday.
Al-Shaabi emphasized Yemen Airways’ commitment to serving all Yemeni citizens and stated that the operation of the Sanaa-Amman-Sanaa flights was made possible after obtaining the necessary permits. He also mentioned that the airline is in the process of securing permits for flights from Sanaa to Cairo and Mumbai, India, pending all required approvals.
Furthermore, Al-Shaabi highlighted that sales outlets have been opened at all company offices and through authorized agents, offering seats across all classes to passengers from all regions of Yemen without exception.
This move by Yemen Airways marks a significant step in enhancing connectivity for Yemeni citizens and reflects the ongoing efforts to facilitate travel and transportation despite the challenging circumstances.
