To “break the siege” on Gaza, the “Resilience Convoy” departs Tunisia en route to Rafah.

Humanitarian Convoy Departs Tunis for Gaza

On Monday morning, the "Resilience Convoy" left Tunis, embarking on a land journey aimed at breaking the Israeli blockade around Gaza and delivering essential aid to Palestinians.

Gathering of Supporters

From the early hours of the day, over 1,500 activists, political figures, and human rights advocates gathered to participate in the convoy. This mobilization occurred at "Mohamed V Street," following an invitation from the "Joint Action Coordination" to support the Palestinian cause.

Journey Begins

The convoy took its initial route south through major cities, heading towards the Ras Jedir border crossing with Libya. According to convoy spokesperson Jawaher Shena, the group consists of nine buses and approximately 100 vehicles. Additionally, a delegation from Algeria joined the effort, and the number of participants is expected to increase upon reaching the Ras Jedir border.

Planned Route to Gaza

Following its path, the "Resilience Convoy" will travel along the coastal route in Libya, eventually reaching the border with Egypt. From there, the convoy will proceed to Cairo and then to the Rafah crossing to deliver aid directly to the Palestinian people.

This initiative highlights the ongoing commitment to humanitarian support and solidarity with those affected by the conflict in Gaza.
