Three Palestinians died and five others sustained injuries today due to an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle near Abu Khadra Mosque in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, according to sources from the Palestinian Civil Defense.
Sources reported to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the airstrike targeted a jeep, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to four others. Additionally, a woman suffered gunshot wounds from Israeli forces in the Al-Muhararat area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Following the attack, emergency crews transported several injured individuals, including children and women, to Al-Saraya Civil Hospital in central Gaza and Al-Shifa Hospital in the west of the city for treatment. These incidents highlight the escalating violence in the region and its impact on civilians.
Updated statistics reveal that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has reached 73,018 since October 7, 2023, with 172,273 reported injuries. Furthermore, since the declaration of a ceasefire last October, Israeli violations have resulted in 1,007 deaths and 3,165 injuries.
The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, with daily reports indicating worsening crises in health and essential services. This situation calls for urgent international response.
Amid these harsh conditions, various parties continue to call for either a ceasefire or immediate humanitarian assistance. Palestinian families suffer from the ongoing violence, underscoring the need for international efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve stability in the region.
