The Yemeni Embassy in Bahrain hosted a cultural and speech event today to celebrate the 26th of September Revolution, the 14th of October Revolution, and the 30th of November. These significant dates mark pivotal moments in Yemen’s history and symbolize the country’s ongoing struggle for independence and unity.
During the event, Ambassador Dr. Ali Al-Ahmadi addressed attendees, which included members of the diplomatic mission, social figures, and members of the Yemeni community in Bahrain. He emphasized, “Our celebration of these occasions reaffirms our commitment to their goals and principles. We honor the pure blood that was shed to achieve and defend these revolutions, especially as we face attempts to undermine them following the Houthi coup, which seeks to revert Yemen to a time of imamate and clerical rule.”
Ambassador Al-Ahmadi also conveyed greetings from President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and other council members, highlighting the importance of these national occasions.
The celebration featured a poignant poetry recital that captured the spirit of these national holidays. Additionally, attendees enjoyed various artistic performances, including national anthems and traditional Yemeni songs, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
This event not only celebrated Yemen’s revolutionary history but also reinforced the community’s unity and cultural identity in Bahrain.
