The Executive Office in Shabwa has expressed its full support for the recent decisions made by the Presidential Leadership Council and the National Defense Council. This support comes in light of national measures, particularly the resumption of oil exports.
During a meeting led by Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir, officials emphasized that these decisions represent a significant step toward safeguarding Yemen’s sovereignty. They aim to protect national security, bolster the economy, and restore state resources.
The meeting condemned the attacks launched by Houthi militias on international shipping in the Red Sea. These actions serve the Iranian regime’s agenda. Officials stressed the need to counter destructive projects and Iranian influence in Yemen and the region, while also working to protect national interests and enhance security and stability.
The meeting, attended by Local Council Secretary-General Abdrabah Hashlah and several provincial officials, reviewed reports on the collection of various financial resources. They also discussed progress on the Qena commercial port project and activities in the cultural sector.
Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir highlighted the importance of strengthening financial resources to support development efforts and improve service levels. He urged adherence to laws and regulations in resource collection. Additionally, he emphasized the need to focus on cultural and tourism sectors, developing programs and activities that preserve archaeological sites and historical cities. This approach aims to reflect Shabwa’s cultural significance and enhance opportunities for tourism and investment.
The Executive Office’s commitment to supporting national decisions and enhancing financial resources underscores its dedication to Yemen’s sovereignty and economic recovery. By prioritizing development and cultural preservation, Shabwa aims to foster a stable and prosperous future.
