The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has initiated the “Enhancing Urban Water Systems” project in the city of Taiz. This initiative, valued at 3.5 million Saudi Riyals, partners with the Sila Development Organization. The launch coincides with a French project aimed at improving the efficiency and sustainability of water and sanitation services.
Beneficiaries of the Project
More than 139,000 individuals will directly benefit from these projects, while over 242,000 will gain indirect benefits. These initiatives aim to strengthen urban infrastructure’s capacity to address climate change impacts, enhancing the resilience of local communities.
