Government Supports Security Measures in Hadhramaut

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting security and military forces, as well as local authorities in Hadhramaut. This support aims to stabilize the situation in the “Khasha” area of Wadi Al-Ain Hurra and restore order by apprehending those who violate the law.

Prime Minister’s Communication with Hadhramaut Governor

During a phone call on the evening of the incident, Prime Minister bin Mubarak discussed the recent clashes in Khasha with Hadhramaut Governor Mabkhout bin Madi. Armed groups engaged in unlawful activities attacked security personnel who were executing a judicial order. This confrontation resulted in the tragic death of one security officer and left several others injured. The Prime Minister outlined the measures taken to address the situation, ensuring the safety of citizens and the protection of public and private property.

Condolences and Support for the Injured

Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak extended his condolences to the family of the fallen officer, expressing his heartfelt sorrow over the loss. He also wished a swift recovery for the injured, commending their bravery and sacrifices in the pursuit of security and stability. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of upholding judicial rulings and maintaining law and order.

The Prime Minister directed relevant agencies to continue tracking and apprehending lawbreakers. He stressed the need for necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
