Prime Minister Urges Local Authorities to Enhance Services Amid Ramadan

In a recent directive, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak called on local authorities in liberated provinces to intensify efforts aimed at alleviating the living conditions of citizens. He emphasized the need for improved services and vigilant monitoring of food supply and pricing, especially with the arrival of Ramadan.

Government Support for Local Leadership

Dr. bin Mubarak reaffirmed the government’s full support for local leaders as they fulfill their responsibilities during these challenging times. He highlighted that their efforts should positively impact the lives of citizens and mitigate the hardships caused by the Houthi militia’s actions since their coup against the legitimate government and the subsequent outbreak of war.

Communication with Provincial Governors

The Prime Minister made these remarks during phone calls with several provincial governors, including Mabkhout bin Madi of Hadhramaut, Awad bin al-Wazir of Shabwa, Ahmed al-Turki of Lahij, Hassan Taher of Hodeidah, Nabil Shamsan of Taiz, Raafat al-Thaqli of Socotra, Abubakr Hussein of Abyan, and Ali Saleh Maqbil of Al-Dhale. He inquired about the current situation of citizens and the collaboration with the government to overcome existing challenges.

Ramadan Greetings and Solidarity

During these conversations, the Prime Minister exchanged Ramadan greetings with the governors. He also requested that they convey the regards of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, and his fellow council members to all citizens in their provinces. The Prime Minister expressed a deep understanding of the citizens’ struggles and emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing their needs with available resources.

Focus on Immediate Needs and Stability

Dr. bin Mubarak stressed the importance of recognizing citizens’ hardships and prioritizing urgent service areas that directly affect daily life. He also underscored the necessity of establishing security and stability to foster a better living environment for all.
