Leadership Meeting Addresses Challenges in Abyan and Dhale

On Saturday, Major General Aidarus Qasim al-Zubaidi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with the governors of Abyan and Dhale, Major General Abubakr Hussein Salem and Major General Ali Maqbel Saleh. The meeting focused on the current situation in both provinces, evaluating the performance of local and service agencies, and identifying challenges that hinder progress across various sectors.

Security and Military Updates

The discussion included recent security and military developments along the border fronts. Al-Zubaidi highlighted the ongoing Houthi attacks and their attempts to infiltrate the regions, which threaten the security and stability of Abyan and Dhale. He praised the heroic resilience and daily sacrifices of the forces defending these areas. Their efforts serve as a strong shield against the Houthi terrorist assaults aimed at destabilizing the liberated provinces.

Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of enhancing combat readiness and improving coordination among military and security units. He urged the need to prepare for any potential escalation in conflict, reinforcing the commitment to protect the regions from external threats.

In terms of development and public services, Al-Zubaidi stressed the necessity of intensifying efforts to improve conditions in the provinces. Furthermore, Al-Zubaidi underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration with international organizations operating in Abyan and Dhale.
