Ministry of Awqaf Approves First Batch of Umrah Facilities for 1448 AH

The Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance, through its Hajj and Umrah sector in the temporary capital of Aden, has announced the approval of the first batch of facilities for Umrah pilgrims for the 1448 AH season. This initiative aims to enhance the organization of Umrah activities and improve the services provided to pilgrims.

Approval of 50 Facilities

In a recent statement, the sector confirmed that the first batch includes 50 approved facilities. These establishments have completed all necessary requirements and regulatory procedures. The ministry urges citizens wishing to perform Umrah to register only through the approved facilities to ensure their rights are protected.

Warning Against Brokers and Fake Advertisements

The ministry has issued a warning against engaging with brokers and intermediaries, as well as advertisements and fake pages on social media. This caution aims to protect the rights of pilgrims and ensure they receive services in accordance with established regulations.

Ongoing Monitoring and Compliance

The Hajj and Umrah sector emphasized its commitment to monitoring and supervising the performance of approved facilities. Any violations will be addressed according to regulatory procedures, which may include suspending non-compliant facilities from operations.

Dedicated Support Line for Complaints

To further enhance oversight and protect the rights of pilgrims, the sector has established a dedicated phone line at (00967785107611). This line will receive complaints, observations, and inquiries related to Umrah services, aiming to improve service quality.
