Today, Dr. Abdul Salam Humeid, the Minister of Transport, assessed the operational status and employee discipline at Aden International Airport. This visit followed the conclusion of the Eid al-Adha holiday. The minister toured various departments, including departure and arrival halls, while engaging with staff about the services provided throughout the airport.

Dr. Humeid chaired a meeting that included key figures such as Abdul Raqeeb Al-Amri, the General Director of Aden International Airport, and Dr. Munif Al-Zughli, the Deputy General Director. The discussion focused on evaluating ongoing activities and project plans at the airport.

Final Preparations for Infrastructure Improvements

During the meeting, attendees reviewed final preparations for crucial maintenance tasks. These include repairs to the runway, navigation systems, and communication equipment. Additionally, they discussed the expedited construction of a new aircraft maintenance hangar. Ongoing projects, such as the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology building, the Aviation Institute, and the Aviation Security Institute, were also highlighted.
