Minister of Transport Mohsen Al-Amri stressed the importance of activating emergency operations rooms across all sectors of the ministry. He called for updating emergency plans and operational alternatives while enhancing coordination among institutions and agencies. Al-Amri noted that the ministry has formed a high-level emergency committee that includes leaders from various institutions and sectors to monitor developments and address challenges that may hinder operations.
During an emergency meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Transport Nasser Sharif, ministry officials, and heads of boards from affiliated institutions and sectors, Minister Al-Amri highlighted the need for ongoing monitoring of field developments. He urged the implementation of necessary precautionary measures and improved coordination among sectors. Al-Amri emphasized the necessity of establishing operational alternatives and reviewing emergency plans to ensure the continuity of services and the safety of facilities under the ministry’s jurisdiction.
The Minister instructed sector leaders and institutions to enhance their readiness and prepare to address any new developments. He insisted that emergency committees and operations rooms remain fully prepared to take appropriate actions.

This meeting aligns with directives from the Prime Minister to elevate readiness across all institutions and agencies, ensuring maximum caution while maintaining regular operations.
