Taiz, Yemen – Today, Engineer Hussein Al-Aqrobi, the Minister of Public Works and Roads, along with Nabil Shamsan, the Governor of Taiz, visited the ongoing rehabilitation project of the Heijjat Al-Abd road. This crucial road connects the Taiz and Lahij governorates and receives funding from the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen.
Project Progress and Updates
During their visit, the minister and governor received detailed explanations from the supervising and executing teams about the completed work. This includes the installation of concrete and asphalt sections, as well as efforts to finalize traffic safety elements. The teams are preparing to hand over the project in the coming period.
The project managers confirmed that the work adheres to the approved timeline. They reported that the project has entered its final stages, with ongoing efforts to complete the remaining tasks related to traffic safety and necessary technical preparations.
