New Governor of Al-Jawf Takes Oath of Office

On Sunday, Major General Amin Ali Al-Akimi took the oath of office before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, following his appointment as the Governor of Al-Jawf and Commander of the Al-Jawf Axis.

President Congratulates New Governor

After the oath, the President met with the new Governor of Al-Jawf, congratulating him on the trust placed in him to lead the local authority during this crucial phase in the country’s history.

Strategic Importance of Al-Jawf

The President praised the pivotal role of Al-Jawf, highlighting its significant national and strategic weight in the project to restore state institutions. He emphasized that the positions and sacrifices of its people in defending the republican system deserve full loyalty, care, and justice.

Acknowledgment of Military Achievements

The President also commended the bravery of the armed forces, all military formations, and the popular resistance in the province, noting their important advances and achievements on all fronts. He stressed that the state and local authority leadership in Al-Jawf aim to enhance field gains and build upon them to recover the remaining territories of the province and alleviate the suffering of its residents. He reaffirmed a strict commitment to protecting civilians and safeguarding public and private property.

Call for Unity and Coordination

Addressing the new Governor, the President stated that it is also his responsibility to unify the efforts of the local authority and community components. He urged the Governor to enhance coordination with military and security leaders and to overcome any disagreements that could weaken national unity.

Launch of “Dawn of Yemen” Operation

The President confirmed that the “Dawn of Yemen” operation commenced to fulfill the aspirations of all Yemenis, facilitate the return of displaced persons to their homes, recover their lands and properties, and end fear, extortion, and forced conscription.

A Message to the People of Al-Jawf

The President urged the people of Al-Jawf not to involve their children in the senseless death traps led by the Houthi militias. He assured that a safe return remains open for those who lay down their arms and cease fighting alongside the terrorist militias, in accordance with the announced procedures.

Action Plan for Local Authority

The President directed the local authority leadership in Al-Jawf to present a clear action plan with prioritized objectives and to regularly monitor needs, results, and obstacles. He noted that the recovery of land will not be complete without restoring security, services, and the trust of the loyal people of Al-Jawf.
