Defense Minister Inspects Military Academy in Aden

A Visit to the Higher Military Academy

Today, Defense Minister Major General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Dhaeri conducted an inspection visit to the Higher Military Academy in Aden. His purpose was to assess the educational and academic processes at the Command and Staff College.

Acknowledging the Efforts of Cadets

During his visit, Minister Al-Dhaeri conveyed the greetings of the political leadership, represented by President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. This message celebrated the start of the 2025 training and combat year. The minister praised the level of discipline and the efforts made to ensure a high standard of academic operations.

Encouraging Academic Excellence

Minister Al-Dhaeri urged students to immerse themselves in learning and to take advantage of the various military and general fields of knowledge. He emphasized the importance of strengthening their resolve and exerting maximum effort to develop their leadership skills. This personal growth, he stated, would ultimately benefit both the individuals and the military institution.

Commitment to Educational Development

The Defense Minister reaffirmed that military educational institutions, particularly the Higher Military Academy, remain a top priority for the Ministry of Defense. He highlighted the need to meet their requirements and to enhance their capabilities in line with contemporary needs and technological advancements. Al-Dhaeri pointed out the academy’s critical role in shaping leaders, building their competencies, and refining their skills to achieve high levels of professionalism.

Gratitude from the Academy

In response, the academy’s administration, faculty, and members of the 17th batch expressed their gratitude to the Defense Minister for his attention and support. They acknowledged his efforts in providing necessary resources within available means.

This visit underscores the commitment of the Yemeni defense leadership to fostering a robust military education system, essential for the development of competent and skilled military leaders.
