On Wednesday, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Dhahari inaugurated the 2025 training, combat, and morale year at the Military Academy in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen. This event marks a significant step in enhancing the capabilities of Yemen’s armed forces.
Acknowledgment of Leadership Support
In his address, Minister Al-Dhahari conveyed greetings from the political leadership, including President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and other council members. He emphasized the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff’s dedicated efforts over the past year to train and equip educational and training facilities. These initiatives aim to inject new blood into the armed forces, which is crucial for building and developing the military institution.
Saluting the Brave Fighters

In a related statement, Colonel Mohammed Al-Sufi, the Deputy Director of the Military Academy, reaffirmed the commitment to ongoing development and modernization within the institution. Al-Sufi pledged to enhance training and qualification standards to produce competent leaders capable of advancing the military institution.
