Minister Inspects Bus Fleet for Pilgrims Ahead of Hajj Season

Early Preparations for Hajj 1447
Sheikh Turki Al-Wad’i, the Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, recently inspected the readiness of the bus fleet designated for transporting Yemeni pilgrims between holy sites. This visit forms part of the early preparations for the upcoming Hajj season of 1447 AH.

Meeting with Transportation Officials
During a meeting with officials from the “Rawaaf” transportation company, the Minister reviewed the operational plan for transporting pilgrims. He emphasized the importance of efficient movement between the holy sites and discussed strategies for distributing buses to ensure smooth transit during peak travel times.

Enhancing Operational Efficiency
Minister Al-Wad’i stressed the need to improve operational efficiency by addressing technical and administrative feedback promptly. He called for proactive planning to tackle potential challenges. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of training bus guides and equipping them with practical skills. The Minister also advocated for the use of the latest bus models that meet safety and quality standards.

Emergency Response and Coordination
The Minister pointed out the necessity of establishing mobile repair workshops that operate around the clock. These workshops will provide rapid intervention in emergencies and address mechanical issues, ensuring uninterrupted service. He directed the creation of a joint operations room between the ministry and the transportation company to enhance real-time coordination and performance monitoring. Furthermore, all buses will be connected to a GPS tracking system, allowing for direct monitoring of their movements and facilitating swift decision-making.

This comprehensive approach aims to ensure a seamless experience for Yemeni pilgrims during the Hajj season, reflecting the commitment of the Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance to uphold high standards of service.
