Emergency teams from the Masam demining project, in collaboration with the Executive Center for Mine Action in Mukalla, successfully destroyed 724 pieces of landmines and explosive remnants of war. This operation forms part of ongoing efforts to clear affected areas and protect civilians from the dangers posed by these hazardous materials.

This operation marks the ninth conducted in Hadhramaut since mid-January. As a result of these efforts, the total number of destroyed items in the province has reached 16,187, including landmines, improvised explosive devices, and unexploded ordnance since January 17. These operations aim to secure the region and enhance public safety.
The Masam project plays a vital role in removing landmines and explosive remnants across various regions in Yemen. It significantly contributes to civilian protection and fosters a safe environment conducive to reconstruction and development.
