Interior Minister Monitors Security Situation in Hadramaut Valley and Desert

Minister Engages with Security Leaders

Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Ali Haydan recently held a phone call with security officials and leaders in Hadramaut Valley and Desert. The discussion focused on the latest developments in the region’s security situation. Minister Haydan emphasized the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability.

Commitment to Justice and Transparency

During the call, the minister praised the discipline of security forces and their adherence to the law. He highlighted the importance of conducting a transparent and fair investigation into the murder of young man Mohammed Said Yadeen. This approach aims to ensure justice and bolster public trust in security institutions.

Protecting State Institutions and Public Property

Minister Haydan stressed the need to protect state institutions and both public and private property. He also underscored the importance of respecting freedom of expression within the legal framework. Additionally, he called for monitoring traders to ensure compliance with pricing regulations, following directives from the Prime Minister. This initiative aligns with the recent improvements in the national currency exchange rate.

Local Authority’s Support for Security Efforts

In response, Amir Said Al-Amri, the Deputy Governor of Hadramaut for Valley and Desert Affairs, expressed his appreciation for the minister’s commitment to enhancing security. He reaffirmed the ongoing coordination between local authorities and security and military forces to serve the interests of citizens.
