On Sunday, Governor Nabil Shamsan visited several hospitals in Taiz to check on the health conditions of injured armed forces personnel. His visit aimed to ensure that they receive adequate medical care.
Accompanied by Dr. Ilan Abdulhaq, the Deputy Governor for Health Affairs, and Dr. Fahd Al-Nazari, the Director of the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate, Shamsan listened to medical staff as they provided updates on the health status of the injured and the level of treatment services available to them.
Governor Shamsan emphasized that the injured soldiers symbolize true sacrifice and dedication. He stated that their contributions to defending Taiz, the republic, and the state will always be appreciated by the people of the governorate and the nation. He praised the heroic actions of the injured in the face of adversity, asserting that their sacrifices will remain a badge of honor for the people of Taiz.
Shamsan declared, “The governorate, with the sacrifices made by its sons, will continue its path with determination and will remain resilient against any attempts to undermine it.” He affirmed that the will of the people of Taiz is stronger than any efforts to diminish their resolve. The governorate is committed to restoring state institutions and reinforcing the republican system until every inch of its territory is liberated.
He added, “Honoring the injured goes beyond words; it requires transforming our appreciation for their sacrifices into practical responsibilities. We must ensure they receive the healthcare and treatment they deserve, alleviating their suffering and supporting their families.”
The governor instructed all public and private hospitals, as well as healthcare centers in the governorate, to welcome all injured personnel and provide them with comprehensive medical care without any shortcomings. He stressed that addressing their needs should be a humanitarian and national priority. Shamsan highlighted the necessity for health authorities to collaborate effectively to guarantee that the injured receive the required treatment and that their health conditions are monitored continuously.
Shamsan urged the Health Office and relevant authorities to follow up on these directives and coordinate among various healthcare facilities. This coordination aims to ensure a swift response to the needs of the injured and to prevent any individual from facing the consequences of their injuries without care or follow-up.
In response, the injured personnel expressed their gratitude for the governor’s visit and his concern for their well-being. They affirmed that the visit represents moral support and reflects the official and public commitment to those who have sacrificed in defense of Taiz and the nation.
The governor’s visit aligns with ongoing efforts to address the needs of war-injured individuals and enhance the care provided to them. It underscores that those who have made sacrifices in defense of Taiz and the republic will remain a top priority for local authorities, recognizing their sacrifices and safeguarding their right to care and attention.
