Taiz Governor Launches Celebrations for Yemeni Revolutionary Holidays

Introduction to National Celebrations
Taiz – Governor Nabil Shamsan has officially inaugurated the celebrations for Yemen’s revolutionary holidays, commemorating September 26, October 14, and November 30. The festivities kicked off with vibrant festivals held in local schools and the illumination of the historic Cairo Castle.

Ongoing National Celebrations
In an interview with the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Governor Shamsan announced that the province will host continuous celebrations for these enduring national holidays. The opening events took place today at Al-Hakimi School and Muhammad Al-Dura School, featuring a variety of cultural and patriotic activities.

Honoring Revolutionary Heroes
Governor Shamsan emphasized that celebrating the anniversaries of Yemen’s revolutions serves to honor the heroic roles of the freedom fighters and revolutionaries. These individuals sacrificed their lives to eliminate oppression, backwardness, and the scourge of colonialism, paving the way for a republic grounded in freedom, democracy, justice, and equality. He also condemned the new imamate and sectarianism that have plunged the country into chaos and destruction, driven by Iranian expansionist ambitions that do not serve the Yemeni people. He called for unity and support for the political leadership, particularly President Rashad Al-Alimi and the members of the Presidential Council.

Development Projects in Taiz
The celebrations coincide with significant development projects underway in the province, focusing on essential services and sustainable initiatives. Key areas of improvement include water supply, education, electricity, and road infrastructure. The governor highlighted efforts to restore the province’s infrastructure, which suffered extensive damage during the ongoing conflict. These projects aim to rejuvenate Taiz and restore its former glory.

Conclusion
As Taiz embraces its national heritage through these celebrations, the governor’s commitment to development and unity stands as a beacon of hope for the province’s future. The ongoing festivities not only honor the past but also inspire a collective effort towards rebuilding and progress.
