Military Region Five Celebrates Graduation of 11th Officer Training Class

On Monday, Military Region Five hosted a graduation ceremony for the 11th batch of officer trainees, comprising 156 officers. These individuals completed over six months of intensive training and study in various military disciplines.

Leadership Congratulates Graduates

During his address to the graduates, Major General Yahya Hussein Salah, the commander of Military Region Five, conveyed congratulations from the President, members of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Minister of Defense, and the Chief of General Staff. He praised the officers for their achievements and dedication throughout their training.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Major General Salah emphasized the importance of staying updated with the latest training and development methods in military science. He highlighted the ongoing advancements in military training and expressed the leadership’s commitment to achieving the highest levels of competence and readiness. The ultimate goal remains to prepare for the liberation of Yemen from the oppressive Imamate rule.

Hope for a Better Future

The commander noted that the entire Yemeni population places its hopes on the armed forces to restore state institutions and free the people from the tyranny of the Iran-backed Houthi militias. His remarks underscored the critical role that these officers will play in shaping Yemen’s future.

Recognition of Achievements

Major General Salah expressed pride in the accomplishments of the officers from Military Region Five, acknowledging their successful completion of the training phases. He also recognized the efforts of previous batches, highlighting the continuous progress within the region.

Ceremony Attendance

The graduation ceremony saw the presence of several key military figures, including Brigadier General Khalid Abu al-Qasim, commander of the 12th Hazm Brigade, and Brigadier General Muhammad al-Ajabi, commander of the 3rd Aasifa Brigade, along with other leaders and officers from Military Region Five.

This graduation event marks a significant milestone in the development of the Yemeni armed forces, reinforcing the commitment to national security and stability.
