Military Readiness Assessed in Sixth Military Region

Director of War Operations Visits Military Command

Brigadier General Dr. Yahya Al-Ayzari, the Director of War Operations at the Ministry of Defense, recently assessed the combat readiness of the Sixth Military Region. His visit focused on monitoring the implementation of deployment and surveillance plans in restricted desert areas under the region’s jurisdiction.

Meeting with Military Leaders

During his visit, Al-Ayzari held a joint meeting with Major General Haikal Hantaf, the region’s commander, and Brigadier General Nabil Al-Maqrami, the operations chief. Several officers and the operations command staff also attended. The meeting addressed the military units’ efforts in executing deployment and surveillance strategies. Additionally, they discussed enhancing security measures and combating smuggling in the operational theater, particularly in strategically important desert zones.

Evaluation of Control and Reconnaissance Units

Al-Ayzari reviewed the performance of the control and reconnaissance divisions. He received a detailed briefing on coordination and field monitoring mechanisms. He praised the region’s leadership for their efforts in improving operational performance and enhancing surveillance methods through modern technologies.

Commitment to Security and Stability

Major General Haikal Hantaf emphasized that the region’s leadership has initiated a comprehensive deployment plan. This plan aims to bolster combat and security readiness while preventing smugglers and hostile elements from exploiting desert routes. He reiterated the commitment to enhancing security and stability within the operational responsibility area.

Specialized Training for Personnel

At the conclusion of his visit, Al-Ayzari inspected a specialized training course in drone operations. This program includes several officers and personnel from the region. He highlighted the importance of such specialized training in improving the forces’ efficiency and updating their capabilities to align with modern battlefield dynamics.
