In a thrilling finish, Al-Buraikan emerged in the ninety-third minute to net the equalizer, securing a crucial point for Al-Ahli as they began their continental campaign.
Al-Ahli, the champion of the last two editions, now prepares to face Al-Wasl of the United Arab Emirates away from home on October 12, as part of the second round of the tournament.
