On Sunday, Defense Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, raised alarms about the evident collaboration between Houthi militias and terrorist organizations. This partnership aims to destabilize security in liberated provinces. Al-Daari made these remarks during a meeting of the Security Committee in Shabwa, attended by Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the security conditions in Shabwa. He praised the achievements of security forces and highlighted the effective coordination among military and security agencies, supported by local authorities. Al-Daari emphasized the need to enhance vigilance and strengthen efforts to counter any emerging threats.
Al-Daari pointed out that the Houthis are attempting to deploy their cells in collaboration with terrorist elements to disrupt security. This clear partnership seeks to undermine the authority of the state in liberated areas. In response, the Governor of Shabwa expressed gratitude to the Defense Minister, affirming the unity of security and military forces in the province to maintain peace and stability.
The ongoing collaboration between the Houthis and terrorist groups poses a significant threat to the security of liberated provinces. Authorities remain committed to strengthening their defenses and ensuring the safety of citizens.
