Today, Defense Minister Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqeeli visited the administrative base in Aden, Yemen’s temporary capital. During his visit, he assessed operational performance, discipline, and readiness. This visit underscores the ministry’s commitment to enhancing the capabilities of the armed forces and providing necessary logistical support across various combat fronts.

Performance Evaluation and Logistical Efforts

Minister Al-Aqeeli received a detailed briefing from Brigadier General Ali Al-Kod, the Director of Supply and Logistics. Al-Kod outlined the base’s roles and the efforts of its personnel in securing logistical needs. Al-Aqeeli praised the significant efforts and high level of discipline, which reflect the responsibility and readiness of the troops.

Field Tour of Warehouses and Workshops

During his visit, Al-Aqeeli conducted a field tour of the base’s warehouses and workshops. He observed the organization, preparation, and production levels at the military uniform sewing workshop. He emphasized the importance of improving production quality to meet the military’s needs for suitable equipment and clothing.

Inspection of Al-Busheib Military Hospital

As part of his visit, the Defense Minister inspected Al-Busheib Military Hospital. He reviewed the medical services provided to injured and ill military personnel. He listened to a brief overview from the medical services administration regarding the hospital’s key achievements, needs, and challenges.

Commendation for Humanitarian Efforts

Lieutenant General Al-Aqeeli commended the humanitarian and professional efforts of the hospital’s management and doctors. He praised their dedication to providing healthcare for both military and civilian patients.
