These discussions focused on the current situation in Yemen, particularly regarding the actions of Houthi militias.
Concerns Over Houthi Attacks on Maritime Trade
During the meetings, the officials addressed the ongoing threats posed by Houthi forces, who continue to target commercial vessels and disrupt international shipping routes in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. These aggressive actions not only harm Yemen’s economy but also pose significant risks to global trade and international security.
