Minister of Defense Attends Graduation Ceremony for Security and Facility Protection Cadets

The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Dhari, attended the graduation ceremony for the second batch of Security and Facility Protection cadets at the administrative base in the temporary capital of Aden. This event coincided with the 61st anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, a pivotal moment in Yemen’s history.

Acknowledging Achievements

During the ceremony, Minister Al-Dhari congratulated the graduates in the presence of several dignitaries, including Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Basri, Deputy Chief of General Staff, and various heads of departments and directors. He conveyed the political leadership’s congratulations to the graduates, emphasizing the significance of the October 14 Revolution in shaping the nation’s future.

Commitment to Professional Development

Minister Al-Dhari praised the efforts made to train these individuals, highlighting their crucial role in safeguarding facilities. He stressed the importance of continuously enhancing the skills and capabilities of armed forces personnel across various fields.

Training Program Overview

Brigadier General Ali Al-Kod, Director of the Supply and Logistics Department, provided insights into the training program. He noted that the course lasted three months and focused on equipping graduates with essential field and security skills. These competencies will enable them to perform their duties effectively in protecting military installations.

Demonstrating Acquired Skills

At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates showcased several skills they acquired throughout the program, demonstrating their preparedness to secure and protect military facilities.

This event not only marks a significant achievement for the graduates but also reinforces Yemen’s commitment to strengthening its national security forces.
