Overview of the Visit

Today, Major General Khaled Fadhel, the Commander of the Taiz Axis, assessed the combat readiness and conditions of fighters stationed at the front lines surrounding the city. This visit highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain security and stability in the region.

Inspection of Key Locations

Accompanied by Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Qaisi, the Commander of the 170th Air Defense Brigade, General Fadhel visited several critical sites. These included the “Al-Hamd” area, which has recently experienced repeated clashes with Houthi militias, as well as the Al-Zahra, Al-Shabha, Al-Manaqif, and Al-Wakeel Hill locations. The inspection also covered advanced positions in the air defense front northwest of the city.

Morale and Preparedness

During the visit, General Fadhel evaluated the fighters’ readiness and morale. He praised their resilience in defending the city against the Houthi terrorist group. He emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant and enhancing combat preparedness to counter any potential escalation from the militias.
