In a recent meeting held in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqili underscored the critical need for enhanced oversight and inspection within the military. He stressed the implementation of governance standards to ensure accurate data management and to achieve administrative and financial discipline.
During the meeting, which included the Human Resources Authority and its department heads, Al-Aqili directed efforts to organize and regulate the data of the armed forces. He highlighted the importance of strengthening governance principles and improving administrative performance. His assistant for human resources, Major General Mohammed Batis, and the head of the authority, Major General Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, were also present to support these initiatives.
The leadership of the Human Resources Authority reaffirmed its commitment to executing the minister’s directives. They aim to elevate institutional work and maintain accurate records of the armed forces.
In a separate engagement, Minister Al-Aqili met with the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Authority, led by Major General Ahmed Al-Yafai. The discussion focused on enhancing intelligence operations to meet relevant objectives effectively.
This commitment to oversight and intelligence reflects the ministry’s dedication to improving the operational capabilities of the armed forces. By prioritizing governance and data accuracy, the Ministry of Defense aims to foster a more disciplined and efficient military structure.
