Houthi Attacks on Saudi Infrastructure Continue, Says Coalition Spokesman
The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia continues its unlawful attacks on national resources and infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Major General Al-Maliki stated, “The continuation of these attacks demonstrates the Houthi militia’s extremist approach to escalation and targeting civilians in the Kingdom. Today, Wednesday, the militias launched attacks on the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Jazan using several ballistic missiles and drones.”
Major General Al-Maliki added, “The leadership of the Coalition’s joint forces will respond to these attacks responsibly to protect the sovereignty of the Kingdom and its national resources, as well as to safeguard civilians and civilian objects from these unlawful assaults. This response will align with the principle of self-defense under international law and Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, as well as with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.”
