The Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, highlighted the importance of unifying national efforts and enhancing the role of popular resistance in supporting the armed forces. He stressed the need to improve coordination and readiness to confront the Houthi terrorist militias and advance the battle to restore the state and end the rebellion.
During a meeting today with leaders of the popular resistance, Lieutenant General bin Aziz discussed the latest developments in military conditions. He underscored the significance of collaboration between official and popular efforts, as well as the coordination of resistance work. This comes in light of the decision to declare a general mobilization and the resolutions of the National Defense Council, which aim to strengthen leadership unity and direct various energies and capabilities toward serving the national battle.
The current phase requires the concerted efforts of military and security institutions, local authorities, and community activities. Lieutenant General bin Aziz called for enhancing national awareness, discipline, and responsibility while instilling values of sacrifice and national alignment against the Houthi militia.
The meeting also addressed the need to strengthen coordination between the armed forces and the resistance, as well as to organize community and field support efforts for the upcoming phase.
In response, leaders of the popular resistance affirmed their readiness to continue supporting the armed forces. They emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination with military leaders and local authorities, as well as mobilizing community resources to support the fronts and strengthen the internal front.
