The Armed Forces launched focused strikes against the positions and vehicles of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias in the southern and southwestern fronts of Marib. These operations resulted in the destruction and damage of several combat vehicles, inflicting casualties on the militia’s personnel and equipment.
According to military sources from the Third Military Region in southern Marib, the Armed Forces’ artillery and drone units successfully destroyed and damaged multiple Houthi vehicles. Additionally, warplanes targeted the militia’s barracks and storage facilities in the southwestern areas of the governorate.
The Armed Forces also targeted a Houthi artillery position, leading to the destruction of the cannon and the death of its crew.
The operations resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Houthi militia members. Meanwhile, three soldiers from the Armed Forces lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries.
Military operations continue across various fronts in Marib as part of “Yemen Dawn,” which commenced on October fourth. Forces maintain combat readiness and vigilance at all confrontation sites, aiming to restore state institutions and end the rebellion of the Iranian-backed militia.
