President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, has received an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi. The invitation pertains to the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for early November.
In addition to the invitation, President Alimi also received a second message from President Sisi. This correspondence focused on enhancing the bilateral relations between Yemen and Egypt. Both leaders discussed various ways to support and strengthen these ties in regional and international forums.
Dr. Yahya Al-Shaibi, Director of the Presidential Office, received both messages during a meeting on Tuesday with Ihab Abu Sereih, the non-resident Ambassador of Egypt to Yemen. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the existing bilateral relations and explore avenues for further development.
During the discussion, Dr. Al-Shaibi praised Egypt’s steadfast support for the Yemeni people and their political leadership throughout various challenges. This acknowledgment highlights the importance of Egypt’s role in Yemen’s ongoing journey toward stability and development.
The invitation to the Grand Egyptian Museum signifies a potential strengthening of cultural and diplomatic ties between Yemen and Egypt. As both nations continue to collaborate, the focus remains on fostering mutual support in various international arenas.
