The two leaders discussed recent developments in the eastern provinces and their implications for the political, economic, and service sectors.

Support from Saudi Arabia and the UAE

During the meeting, President Alimi expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy, particularly the contributions from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, he addressed the outcomes of presidential communications regarding the withdrawal of external forces from the eastern provinces and the need to mitigate the effects of escalating tensions on the overall situation in the country.
