President Alimi Meets with Legal Team to Discuss Progress and Future Plans

On Saturday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with the legal support team led by Judge Hamoud Al-Hattar. This meeting aimed to review the team’s recent activities and outline future strategies.

During the meeting, President Alimi listened to a briefing from the legal team’s leadership and members. They provided insights into their accomplishments and responsibilities over the past period. Additionally, they shared their vision and plans to enhance legal consultancy work and ensure full alignment among state institutions.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Alimi expressed his deep appreciation for the team’s efforts during these challenging times in the country. He emphasized that the return of the legal team and its supporting bodies reflects the institutional approach of the state’s leadership. This commitment aligns with the transitional phase’s frameworks, particularly the power transfer declaration and the regulations governing the council and its supporting bodies.

President Alimi asserted that the Presidential Leadership Council stands on a solid foundation of understanding and integration. The unified goal remains the restoration of state institutions and the end of the Iranian-backed coup. He praised the contributions of all bodies and institutions involved in this effort.

Legal Efforts Against Houthi Militias

The President highlighted the crucial role of legal efforts in the national battle against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias. He called for action to deter their severe human rights violations and urged the international community to expand their classification as a transnational terrorist organization.
