They explored ways to implement modern technologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and align with global trends toward clean energy and environmental sustainability.

Investment and Collaboration

Both parties examined strategies to enhance cooperation and capitalize on investment opportunities in the energy sector. This includes expanding the use of renewable energy sources and sharing experiences that support sustainable development and improve the sector’s efficiency in Yemen.

German Support for Development Initiatives

Ambassador Schneider expressed his interest in understanding the current state of the oil and gas sector and its challenges. He reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to supporting developmental initiatives and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Schneider praised Safer’s role in contributing to the national economy and emphasized the importance of ongoing communication and coordination to explore new avenues for collaboration that serve shared interests and support Yemen’s development efforts.
