The armed forces engaged in fierce battles today, Thursday, against Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime across several fronts in Taiz Governorate.
A military source reported that the armed forces focused their efforts on intense confrontations in Bani Bakari in the Jabal Habashi district, Hamir in the Maqbana district, and the Al-Aqroud front in the southeastern part of the governorate. The clashes resulted in significant losses for the Houthi militias in terms of personnel and equipment.
The source added that the confrontations extended to the fronts of Al-Kadha and Jabal Han, as well as the northern and eastern fronts of the city of Taiz.
The military source indicated that after hours of intense fighting, the armed forces successfully repelled the militia’s attacks, forcing their elements to retreat following substantial losses in both personnel and equipment.
