The armed forces engaged in fierce battles today, Thursday, against Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime across multiple fronts in Taiz Governorate.
A military source reported that the armed forces focused their efforts on intense fighting in Bani Bakari in the Jabal Habashi district, as well as in Hamir in the Maqbana district and the Al-Aqroud front in the southeastern part of the governorate. The clashes resulted in significant losses for the Houthi militias in terms of personnel and equipment.
The source added that confrontations extended to the fronts of Al-Kadha and Jabal Han, including the northern and eastern fronts of the city of Taiz.
According to the military source, the armed forces successfully repelled the Houthi attacks after hours of intense fighting. They forced the militia members to retreat, inflicting heavy casualties on them in both personnel and equipment.
