Saudi Arabia, through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, announced a new round of budget support for the Republic of Yemen, amounting to more than 224 million Riyals.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen stated in a post on the platform X, “Under the guidance of the wise leadership and as part of Saudi Arabia’s support for the Yemeni people, the Kingdom has provided a new tranche of budget support for Yemen exceeding 224 million Riyals.”
The program added, “This support is designated to cover operational expenses and salaries, contributing to reducing the budget deficit, ensuring regular government financial flows, enhancing purchasing power, and stimulating commercial markets.”
