Strengthening Bilateral Relations: Yemen and Kenya Discuss Cooperation

Yemen’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zandani, met with Kenyan Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Musalia Mudavadi, to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations between their nations. The discussions focused on activating various areas of cooperation, including political consultation mechanisms outlined in the existing agreement between Yemen and Kenya.

Addressing Regional and International Developments

During their meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the Fourth Antalya Diplomatic Forum, both leaders exchanged views on recent regional and international developments. They emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordination on issues of mutual interest. Key topics included trade cooperation, counter-terrorism efforts, and ensuring maritime security.

Dr. Al-Zandani expressed appreciation for the support the Kenyan government provides to the Yemeni community in Kenya. This assistance highlights the historical ties that bind the two nations and their peoples.
