Shabwa Governorate will host the central celebration for the launch of Arab Traffic Week on Sunday, under the theme “Slow Down, A Life Awaits You.” This event comes at the direction of Major General Omar Bamshmos, the Director General of Traffic Police at the Ministry of Interior.
Colonel Hussein Shniter, the Director General of Traffic Police in Shabwa, confirmed the governorate’s readiness to host this significant celebration. He expressed pride in Shabwa and its local leadership for hosting this event for the first time.
Colonel Shniter emphasized the importance of collective efforts to ensure the event’s success. He highlighted the event’s role in promoting traffic safety concepts and regulations within the community. Additionally, he praised the commitment of local authorities, particularly Governor Awad bin al-Wazir and Shabwa’s Security Director, Brigadier General Fouad al-Nasi, in organizing and facilitating this important initiative.
