The Yemeni Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 79 individuals involved in various criminal activities across liberated provinces within the last 24 hours. This information was disclosed in a statement from the police departments under the ministry, as reported by the Security Media Center.
According to the statement, police departments in the liberated provinces received 71 reports of different criminal cases yesterday. Within the same 24-hour period, authorities successfully resolved 51 of these cases. Ongoing investigations continue in the provinces of Taiz, Aden, Hadramout (coast and valley), Shabwa, Al-Dhale, and Al-Hudaydah, where police are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding 20 additional crimes and apprehend the perpetrators.

In a related development, police in the Mafer district of Taiz have launched a comprehensive investigation into an arson case that resulted in the death of a two-year-old child, Hassan, and left his eight-year-old sister, Amoura, suffering from smoke inhalation. The fire completely destroyed the family’s home.
The Security Media Center reported that authorities detained 15 individuals from the Braidah area in connection with the arson. These suspects are currently held for legal proceedings and further investigation into the crime.
