The security forces in liberated areas of Yemen have reported a remarkable achievement in crime resolution during the first quarter of this year. They successfully resolved 2,721 criminal incidents out of a total of 3,064 registered crimes, resulting in an impressive resolution rate of 88%. This significant improvement highlights the enhanced capabilities of security agencies in combating crime.
According to a report from the General Department of Criminal Investigation under the Ministry of Interior, authorities apprehended 2,987 suspects from a total of 3,251, translating to a commendable arrest rate of 91%. Such progress reflects the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to bolster security across the nation. The report also revealed the number of victims during the same timeframe, totaling 2,291 individuals, which included:

During the first quarter of the year, authorities referred 1,990 cases to the prosecution. Additionally, 455 cases concluded with settlements, while 81 cases were suspended. Authorities transferred 97 cases to other entities, and 81 cases remain under investigation. Notably, 200 crimes were recorded as committed by unknown perpetrators.
