On Sunday evening, security forces in Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut Governorate, apprehended the suspect in the murder of Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hamdi, the son of the late General Ahmed Al-Hamdi. This swift action followed an intensive investigation and pursuit by criminal investigation teams.
Reports indicate that Al-Hamdi suffered a gunshot wound to the head, fired by an assailant while he was near his home in the Dais Mukalla area. Emergency responders quickly transported him to Al-Burj Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
