On Monday evening, security forces in Hadhramaut called on all citizens and parents to adhere to existing laws and refrain from participating in any unlicensed demonstrations. This initiative aims to ensure public safety and maintain order in the region.
This appeal follows directives from Saeed Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut. The security media department of Hadhramaut police confirmed this information, emphasizing the importance of following legal protocols.
The security forces highlighted that organizing or participating in any gatherings without official permission from relevant authorities constitutes a legal violation that could lead to accountability. They stressed the crucial role of parents in monitoring their children and educating them about the dangers of following illegal calls or rumors from unknown sources.
Citizens are encouraged to comply with laws governing public gatherings and to cooperate with security forces. They should report any activities that could disrupt security and public order. The authorities reiterated that maintaining security and stability is a shared responsibility among all community members.
This warning comes in response to calls from supporters of the dissolved Transitional Council to organize protests on Tuesday in the cities of Mukalla and Aden. The security forces remain vigilant and committed to ensuring the safety of all residents.
