Prime Minister visits King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to oversee ongoing humanitarian efforts.

Prime Minister Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak Visits King Salman Relief Center in Riyadh

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak visited the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received a warm welcome from Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah, advisor at the royal court and supervisor general of the center, along with several other officials.

Acknowledging Humanitarian Contributions

During his visit, the Prime Minister expressed admiration for the center’s significant efforts and its vital role in supporting those in need worldwide. He conveyed his deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both the government and its people, for the extensive humanitarian and relief assistance provided to Yemen. This support has alleviated suffering across various cities and villages, highlighting the strong brotherly ties between the two nations.

Discussing Coordination and Priorities

The Prime Minister held a meeting with the center’s leadership to discuss the coordination and development of humanitarian work in Yemen. They focused on identifying priority needs and enhancing collaboration between the Yemeni government and the center to execute planned programs and strategies effectively.

Commitment to Alleviating Suffering

Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah emphasized the center’s commitment to easing the hardships faced by vulnerable, affected, and displaced populations in Yemen. He provided a detailed overview of the humanitarian projects implemented by the center across 102 countries, including Yemen. Notably, Yemen has seen 976 humanitarian projects valued at over $4 billion, addressing various critical sectors.

Accompanying Delegation

The Prime Minister was accompanied during his visit by the Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Engineer Anis Baharitha, and the Executive Director of the Emergency Response Unit, Jamal Bin Ghanem.

This visit underscores the ongoing collaboration between Yemen and Saudi Arabia in addressing humanitarian challenges and reinforces their shared commitment to improving the lives of those in need.
