Today, the Republic issued a presidential decree (No. 1 of 2026) to establish a new center dedicated to cardiovascular health and kidney transplantation in Taiz Governorate. This initiative aims to enhance medical services in these critical areas.
The decree consists of 25 articles organized into five chapters. The first two chapters outline the center’s name, definitions, objectives, tasks, and responsibilities. Meanwhile, the third and fourth chapters focus on the center’s management, resources, and financial system. Finally, the fifth chapter includes general provisions designed to strengthen the center’s role in providing exceptional medical services for cardiovascular treatment and kidney transplantation throughout the country.
The final article of the decree specifies that the center will commence operations immediately upon its publication in the official gazette. This swift implementation underscores the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services in Yemen.
