President Alimi Highlights Al-Dhale’e’s Key Role in Future Development Initiatives

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing the Al-Dhale’e Governorate. He emphasized the necessity of improving public services and living conditions while supporting local authorities in fulfilling their obligations across various sectors.

Focus on Basic Services and Community Unity

During a meeting on Thursday with Al-Dhale’e Governor Ahmed Al-Qubba, President Alimi underscored that the government’s priority is to enhance basic services and boost development opportunities. This initiative is designed to meet citizens’ aspirations and alleviate their living hardships.

Governor Al-Qubba presented a detailed report on the general conditions in the governorate, which included ongoing efforts within the service and development sectors. He addressed significant challenges in electricity, water, health, education, and infrastructure.

In his remarks, President Alimi commended the local authority’s efforts to stabilize the region in recent months. He praised their responsible handling of various challenges, particularly in countering the Iranian-backed Houthi militias. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for the support from Saudi Arabia to Al-Dhale’e and other governorates through development and service programs. This assistance represents a genuine opportunity to enhance local recovery efforts, improve essential services, and alleviate prolonged humanitarian suffering.

President Alimi stressed the importance of local authorities managing this support efficiently and transparently. He urged them to prioritize urgent needs to ensure a tangible and sustainable impact on citizens’ lives. Furthermore, he called on the people of Al-Dhale’e, across all demographics, to unite around development priorities. He encouraged them to seize opportunities presented by the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia and to work responsibly to foster stability and create an attractive environment for projects and investments.

Ongoing Government Initiatives and the Path Forward

President Alimi assured that the government will continue to implement practical solutions through a series of priority projects in Al-Dhale’e. These projects will focus on road development, water and sanitation systems, equipping the general hospital, and supporting higher education and vocational training. Such initiatives aim to create job opportunities for youth and improve services across all districts.

He emphasized that investing in general education and vocational training is crucial for development, serving as an effective means to empower youth and integrate them into the local and regional job markets, thereby enhancing security and stability in the country.

President Alimi reiterated the state’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of Al-Dhale’e residents, particularly the wounded and families of martyrs, recognizing their ongoing national contributions against the Houthi project.
