The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast Center has issued a report predicting clear to partly cloudy weather for coastal areas and their surroundings this Friday. The forecast indicates hot and humid conditions during the day, transitioning to mild temperatures at night. Winds will vary from moderate to active along the eastern, southern, and western coasts, with stronger gusts expected in the Socotra Archipelago, reaching speeds of 25 to 35 knots.
In its daily weather bulletin, which was shared with the Yemen News Agency (Saba), the center anticipates partly cloudy weather in mountainous regions. There is a possibility of scattered rain showers accompanied by thunder in parts of the western and southwestern highlands. Meanwhile, the desert and plateau areas will experience clear skies, with hot to extremely hot conditions during the day and mild temperatures at night. Winds will be moderate, occasionally stirring up dust and sand.

The center urges residents in desert and coastal areas to take precautions against the heat and avoid direct sun exposure. It recommends staying hydrated and following safety guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses. Additionally, the center advises citizens and drivers in areas expecting rain to avoid riverbeds and flood-prone areas.
In its daily marine bulletin, the Weather Forecast Center predicts calm seas along the western coasts. However, the waters off Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, and Bab al-Mandab will experience moderate waves. The coasts of Hadramaut will see moderate to rough seas, while the waters off Al-Mahra will be rough. The Socotra Archipelago will experience turbulent to very rough seas. The center warns fishermen, sea-goers, and ship captains in the Socotra Archipelago, the Arabian Sea, and the eastern and southern coasts to exercise caution due to rough seas and strong winds.
